Business Objects Framework
The Business Objects Framework (BOF) contains the
intelligence of a business work flow system. It is non-visual so it can be used
in a variety of different applications. It contains classes to represent
business entities, employees, contacts, and system users. It also has classes to
represent most HR-related functions, including employment and education
histories, background searches, criminal searches, credit reporting, and the
like.
The BOF User Interface (BOFUI) is a toolkit of ASP.Net Web
Forms components that are, in effect, the user interface – or view into – the BOF classes. These
components have properties that can be manipulated by web designers to alter
their functionality and appearance.
